Help & FAQ

Quick answers for players and league organisers. Last updated: 6 August 2026.

Common questions

Quick answers most people need first. Search the full FAQ below if you need something else.

How do I join or invite friends?

Join: open a join link or enter the invite code on the home page or dashboard. Joining is free.

Invite: any member can use Share invite, Copy join link, or WhatsApp invite on the dashboard, league home, or Last Man Standing room. League links look like /join/CODE; LMS links look like /join/lms/CODE. Both join you automatically after sign-in (or after email confirmation if that is required). Typing the code on the home page also works for either game type. Organisers can regenerate the code or close joining when the group is full. Archived leagues block new joins until restored.

Only the person who creates a new league or Last Man Standing game spends a credit — invitees join for free.

When can I change my predictions?

Until one hour before kickoff for each match. After that, that fixture is locked. Other games in the same gameweek may still be open. A countdown on Predict shows time until the first lock.

What is Last Man Standing?

A separate survivor game from score predictions. Pick one team to win each week (no repeats). Draw, loss, or a missed pick and you are out. Create or join from Last Man Standing — creating uses one league credit; joining is free.

What are spectators?

Spectators can watch a league or Last Man Standing room (tables, boards, chat read-only) but cannot submit picks. Organisers can allow spectators when joining is closed so late joiners can still follow along.

What happens if an entry fee is required?

Organisers can Mark paid on Members while collecting money (bookkeeping only). When the payment deadline arrives, use Lock unpaid (view-only) under prizes/settings so unpaid members cannot submit picks or post in chat until marked paid. Owners and co-organisers can always play. The site does not collect money.

How do reminders work?

In-app: dashboard banner when you have unsaved picks; organiser nudges; occasional operator messages.

Push: optional on Account (best after home-screen install).

Email: optional reminder and results emails when enabled on this site. Use Per-league overrides to mute one league without leaving another.

How do I get a league credit?

New accounts get one free starter credit to create a league or Last Man Standing game. Joining with an invite stays free. For another credit, use Request a league credit on the Leagues page (or Account), ask the site operator, receive a gift, or redeem a promo code on Account.

Frequently asked questions

Can I sign in with Google?

Yes. Choose Continue with Google on sign-in. You can set a password later from Account if you want email login as well.

Do I need to confirm my email after sign-up?

If email confirmation is enabled on this site, open the link in the message we send before your first sign-in. If you signed up from an invite link or code, confirming also joins you to that league and opens it. Check spam if it does not arrive within a few minutes. You can tap Resend confirmation email on the sign-up screen, or when signing in if the account is still unconfirmed, then use Sign in once it is confirmed.

When can I change my predictions?

Until one hour before kickoff for each match. After that, that fixture is locked. Other games in the same gameweek may still be open. A countdown on Predict shows time until the first lock.

Who can see my picks, and when?

By default, submitted picks are visible to other members on Picks, H2H, and Forecast as soon as you save them. Organisers can turn on Hide picks until first lock in Settings so others only see picks after a match locks (one hour before kickoff). Points on the Table still update after official results are saved.

On Picks, finished matches show the final score with a green outline for exact scores and yellow for correct results. Your pick history (when you saved or changed picks) is visible on your member profile within the league.

What are Form and Δ on the season table?

Form is points from your last five completed gameweeks. Δ (delta) is how many places you moved since the previous completed gameweek.

What is joker week?

An optional organiser setting: up to two gameweeks score 6 for an exact score and 2 for the correct result instead of 3 / 1. Set them under Settings (Joker 1 and Joker 2). Scoring guide

Can I be in more than one league?

Yes. Tick Also save to my other leagues on Predict to copy the same scorelines to other leagues on the same season.

What is Last Man Standing?

A separate survivor game from score predictions. Pick one team to win each week (no repeats). Draw, loss, or a missed pick and you are out. Create or join from Last Man Standing — creating uses one league credit; joining is free.

What does “continue until one winner” mean?

If more than one player is still alive at the end of the season, the game stays open and rolls into the next season in the same competition. Teams already picked stay unavailable. This is not a rematch — it is the same game continuing.

What is sudden death in LMS?

If every club has already been used and people are still alive, the creator’s setting decides: sudden death (teams can be reused until one survivor) or a shared win among everyone still standing.

Rematch vs season rollover — what’s the difference?

Rollover continues the same LMS game into the next season when “continue until one winner” is on. Rematch is a brand-new game after a finish — same rules, previous players invited, and it uses one league credit.

How do LMS organisers export a report?

Owners and co-organisers can open the room Share hub or Settings and download a CSV with members, pick history, and eliminations. League organisers have a similar export on league Settings.

How do I report a chat message?

In league Chat, open the menu on a message → Report. A site operator may dismiss the report, hide the message, or mute the author in that league.

Why is my league read-only / archived?

The organiser archived it. View the final table under Archive; predictions, chat, and joins are disabled until the owner restores from Settings.

Who adds fixtures and results?

Platform admins import schedules and sync finished scores for Premier League, Serie A, La Liga, Bundesliga, Primeira Liga, Championship, Ligue 1, Eredivisie when sync is enabled. League owners manage members and settings, not the global fixture list.

How do I get a league credit?

New accounts get one free starter credit to create a league or Last Man Standing game. Joining with an invite stays free. For another credit, use Request a league credit on the Leagues page (or Account), ask the site operator, receive a gift, or redeem a promo code on Account.

Troubleshooting

Invite code or join link does not work

Codes are not case-sensitive but must match exactly. Sign in first, then open the link or paste the code on the home page or dashboard — that works for both private leagues and Last Man Standing. If joining is closed, or a league is archived, asks the organiser to reopen or restore it. LMS links use <code>/join/lms/CODE</code>; a plain <code>/join/CODE</code> still finds an LMS game when the code matches.

I cannot sign in

Try Forgot password or Continue with Google. If you just signed up, confirm your email from the message we sent. Still stuck? Contact the organiser.

Push notifications are not working

Enable push on Account, allow notifications in your browser or phone settings, and install the site to your home screen (PWA steps). iOS requires Safari; in-app browsers (Instagram, etc.) often block push.

Predict will not save / fixture locked

Each match locks one hour before kickoff. Refresh Predict — if the countdown hit zero, that scoreline cannot be changed. Check you are signed in and in the correct league.

Account suspended or banned

You will see a message when signing in. If a reason was recorded, it is shown on the restricted account page. Email [email protected] to appeal or ask for details.

I see “Viewing as platform admin” in a league I have not joined

Site operators can open any league for support without joining. They cannot predict or chat until they join as a normal member.

Still stuck? Contact the organiser.

First gameweek checklist (tap to expand)

Same steps for Premier League, Championship, Bundesliga, Serie A, La Liga, Primeira Liga, Ligue 1, and Eredivisie leagues — pick the competition when you create a league on the dashboard.

  1. Sign in with email/password or Continue with Google, then join with the invite link or code from your organiser.
  2. Open your league → Predict and save scorelines for every match in the gameweek (each fixture locks one hour before kickoff).
  3. Optional: on Account → Reminders & notifications, enable push and set Per-league overrides if you are in several leagues. Add the site to your home screen (install on your phone).
  4. After kickoff, check Table for standings (Form and Δ). Tap a name for their member profile. On the league home, open Your rival for a quick head-to-head link.

Organisers: post recaps from Share (organiser tab only).

When fixtures appear on PL Predictions

Fixture lists and next kickoffs update automatically on the home page. We import schedules and results from football-data.org after each competition publishes its list. You can create a league before fixtures are loaded.

World Cup league checklist (tap to expand)

World Cup leagues use the same scoring rules but a different match calendar (group stage then knockouts). Gameweeks follow tournament rounds, not Fri–Thu Premier League weeks.

  1. Join or create a league on the World Cup 2026 season.
  2. Predict on Predict until each match locks (one hour before kickoff).
  3. Use Bracket (instead of the table forecast tab) to follow knockout paths. Knockout slots may show placeholders until the site operator fills in winners after each round.
  4. Results for finished matches are synced automatically when enabled; the main Table updates when scores are applied.

Player guides

Optional detail — expand a topic when you need it. The FAQ above covers most day-to-day questions.

Predictions & lock time (tap to expand)

Enter home and away goals on Predict. Picks lock one hour before kickoff per fixture. Domestic leagues use official matchday numbers; World Cup gameweeks follow tournament rounds (Fri–Thu). Scoring: 3 / 1 (6 / 2 on joker weeks). On Picks, finished matches show the final score with a green outline for exact scores and yellow for correct results. Full scoring guide.

Last Man Standing (tap to expand)

LMS is a separate survivor game from score-prediction leagues. Open Last Man Standing to create or join. Creating uses one league credit; friends join free with your invite until the first gameweek deadline. Organisers can change the starting gameweek in settings before that deadline, close joining, allow spectators, download a CSV report, and start a rematch after a finish.

  1. Pick one team to win each gameweek. You cannot reuse a team later in the same game.
  2. Win and you stay in. A draw, a loss, or a missed pick means you are out.
  3. Picks lock one hour before the earliest kickoff that gameweek. After lock, everyone can see who picked what.
  4. Choose at create time (or in settings before the first deadline): finish this season (shared win if needed) or continue until one winner (rollover into next season). You can also move the starting gameweek later while the game is still open. If all clubs are used with people still alive, sudden death or a shared win applies. After a finish, owners can start a rematch (new game, one credit).
  5. Spectators can watch without picking. Organisers manage this under game settings / close joining.
  6. Use the room Share hub for WhatsApp messages, paste lists, and CSV export.
Table & member profiles (tap to expand)

The season Table ranks by total points with Form and Δ columns. Tap a name for season stats, pick history, and links to H2H. Mini-cup side tables appear when the organiser configured them.

Account → Your stats shows career totals across every league you have joined (not visible to other members).

League chat (tap to expand)

Messages are stored for all league members. Type @ to mention someone, or @everyone to notify all other members (in-app nudge and push when enabled). Chat is disabled on archived leagues. Use Report on a message if needed; organisers and platform admins can hide messages and mute members temporarily.

Reminders & notifications (tap to expand)

See the FAQ entry How do reminders work? above. Global and per-league controls live on Account → Reminders & notifications.

Analytics cookies are separate — use Cookie settings in the footer or see the privacy policy.

More league features (tap to expand)

Head-to-head

H2H compares two members by season or gameweek — points, agreement, side-by-side picks, and their table forecasts. The league home Your rival card links to your closest table neighbour.

Table forecast & World Cup bracket

Domestic leagues show a Forecast tab for one member's table (or league consensus). Compare two players' forecasts side by side on H2H. World Cup leagues show Bracket instead.

Insights

Start with Highlights for For you (rival → head-to-head), awards, best picks, and the title race. Open the full report for accuracy, banter, consensus, the table simulator, and report cards (blended grades, your card to share, live vs final). Organisers can also copy share packs from Insights or the Share hub.

Pick coach

Optional hints on Predict for open fixtures. Turn off under Account → Preferences.

Install on your phone

Add the site to your home screen from the browser menu (PWA). The home page has step-by-step instructions for iPhone (Safari) and Android (Chrome). Push reminders work best after installing.

For league organisers (expand)

Creating a league (credits)

Joining is free. Starting a league costs one credit (Premier League, Serie A, La Liga, Bundesliga, Primeira Liga, Championship, Ligue 1, Eredivisie). Request a credit on the Leagues page or Account, receive a gift, or ask the site operator.

Gift a credit: on Account → Credits, enter another member's email (they must already have an account). Promo codes are created and redeemed by the site operator only — not on the public dashboard.

League organiser tools

Settings: announcements, prizes & rules, up to two joker weeks, hide picks until lock, mini-cups, archive/restore. Test leagues may reset one gameweek's picks.

League home: organiser checklist, missing picks, Nudge in app. Members (everyone): roster with points and form; organisers invite, promote a co-organiser, transfer ownership, mute chat, remove members; members can leave. Chat has league chat plus Direct 1:1 messages between members (report available). Co-organisers can nudge and edit rules but cannot archive or transfer ownership. Organisers can hide messages and mute members (not the owner).

CSV export of standings and picks from Settings (owners and co-organisers).

Share hub

Owners and co-organisers see the Share tab (under More on mobile). Use it to:

  • Copy join links, invite codes, and download a QR code or poster
  • Send picks reminders and gameweek recap text tuned with share tone templates
  • Export standings snapshot images for the group chat
  • Share Season Wrapped summaries near the end of a campaign

Regular members do not see this tab — ask your organiser to post recaps to the group.

Archive & new seasons

Archive makes a league read-only. The Archive tab keeps the last season table; share final standings from there. Restore from Settings.

Roll to new season (when available) moves to the next season for that competition, clears picks, keeps members and invite code, and costs one credit.

Account & sign-in

Update your display name on Account (names must be unique). Change password from Account → Security; use Forgot password if needed. Sign out everywhere revokes all sessions.

Your data

On Account → Your data you can download a JSON export or delete your account. See our privacy policy for what we collect, retention, and your rights.
